Special Thanks:
To my mother who gave up her life to look after me, the twins Linda and Lorna
who helped me on my long walks, to Peter Gillard who has helped me to get where
I am in Aikido and Kenetsuka, who has overcome cancer and been a great
inspiration to me.
Also, special thanks to Rob the computer boffin who helped me with my word
processing, Mal and Lee at Triweb Studios for the free website and Debbie my first physio who gave me
encouragement at a crucial stage.......she got me on my feet and said that the
rest would be up to me.
In the early days she said that I would be up on my feet by Christmas (the first
Christmas that is), and I took it to mean that I would be walking
around...........but in fact she meant just standing up. I suppose my optimism
was a way of keeping myself in the dark about the actual reality of the
situation.
There have been countless others who have spurred me on.....but my final thanks
go to sister Lloyd at Rookwood hospital who kept me in order.
